------------------------------------

Hello,

I am a 24 yr. old voter from Garland County, recently relocated to Washington County due to my husband's transfer to Springdale, AR Armory. I am very proud of him. He joined the Army last year. He is starting school this fall, and I am actively looking for work. We have Tricare, although that has been a trial since it was accidentally cancelled last month and we have had to re-enroll, during which time I have had to cancel 3 various Doctor's appointments. My husband has a broken tooth and will need surgery on his foot, and I have several cavities that need filled before I lose more teeth (it cost too much to have my molars and one front tooth that was broken in an accident fixed so I had to have them pulled). Also, I have been going regularly to various Doctors for extreme pain in my pelvis due to misplaced ovaries and cysts, and other medical mysteries that I can't afford to discover.

I love America, and I am glad that we are founded on the principles of equality and freedom, but it kills me inside when I or my husband have urgent medical needs and we don't have the money to get proper treatment, yet people of hispanic descent who DO NOT HAVE S.S.#'S get their visits paid for by their employers or the government. We pay taxes but WE are denied medicaid and TEA and Food Stamps. We have applied for Care Credit, but we were denied. We don't have "enough" credit, or we have bad credit because we couldn't afford to pay 100% of our medical debt after my husband's appendix was removed, or when he broke his hand in a freak accident, or when a friend accidentally ran over his ankle. We have never had credit cards because we don't want to be in debt, and we maintain a checking and savings account, although almost all of our savings is gone since we have relocated and we are struggling to go to school and work but it's almost impossible to juggle our schedule with only one older model car, which is constantly needing work. I don't understand how we are failing when we are doing everything we are supposed to do to succeed. I know that Life isn't fair, but our government is supposed to be, that is why it is referred to as "the justice system" and I just want access to the same benefits that I have been paying Social Security for, I don't think that is asking too much. Please Help your voters! All the candidates claim to want a better America - PROVE IT!

About Braylandmommy

My husband and I are in a bad place right now. We have two sons Braylon is 4 andLandon is 6 and is autistic. While we recieve some help in paying his medical bills they are far from completly covered for him. Last year he had brain surgery and shortly there after is where our troubles with his health and my own especially took a downhill. I suffered a miscarriage in September, complicated with severe blood loss which resulted in a blood transfusion for me. I thought I was getting better and picked up the pieces and tried to get past the fact that I would have a baby I would never get to hold or meet.      Well, things had been ok and medicaid picked up most of that hospital bill, because it was pregnancy related and that was the only way we got help. Then in February I was rushed out to the ER again thinking I was having a heart attack. Fortunatly it wasnt but it was more blood loss from an unknown source. Resulting yet again in another blood transfusion. Since then Landon has had another surgery, been dignosed with a sleep "disorder" which I dont even know the name of and he has about 5 more dr appointments with various drs as of now that I know of for the remainder of this year. So in the meantime with me, the medications I have to be on cost about a 100 a month plus dr visits that arent covered by insurance. Which as of now we have about 20,000 in medical bills from me alone and I just dont know where its coming from. My husband works about 70 hours a week in order to TRY to cover things and they are just not getting covered.

About awilliams3

I have had a rough year...

I lost my job and didnt qualify for unemployment. I moved to a new town for school and job opportunities. My spouse and I broke up leaving me with a mortgage to continue paying in one state and rent in another, we havent been able to see the property. I tooka low paying food services job to pay some of my bills, but was unable to pay them. Currently have 3 jobs, and withdrew from school. Still cant pay all my bills. Spent over a week in the hospital in March due to a health condition... now have an enourmous amount of medical debt. Credit cards have maxed out... cant afford to pay them off and pay my bills. I have had family support, but they cant continue to give me money.

And now I have decided to move home, to save money... but it will cost $3800 just to get out of the lease. Plus there are moving costs (I am moving cross country)...

Please help me get home, donate via Paypa:

any amount helps

About samee

So last year I was a healthy care free  19 year old student with big plans for my future. Unfortunately as luck would have it I got pretty sick in January. At first I thought it was just the flu but it turned out to be something worse. For a week I was dehydrated and couldn't even stand on my own. One day when Iwoke up I could not move my arm, it felt like every bone in my left arm had broken. The next day after fainting and being in severe pain I was taken to the Emergency Room where I was given fluids. I found out that I had Strep Throat and Mono so they wanted to keep me overnight. To check my arm they did an ultrasound and a CT scan. With that they discovered two things. One was I had ruptured my spleen so I was admitted to the hospital for a week on bedrest. They also discovered that I had an large abnormal cyst on my ovary. With the hospital bills already pilling up, I was missing work and had no money. Now with thousands of dollars in bills I now have an upcoming surgery to find money for. The total for surgery without the anesthesiologist is $4,000. With not working after my medical problems the money just is not there. My doctor has told me the cyst is the size of a newborn baby's head and must be removed soon or I risk it rupturing and killing my ovary as well as rendering my body unable to bear children; however, with the bills already stacking up the hospital requires payment before I even have/schedule the surgery. At a loss for what to do, I've come to asking anyone to help. I don't know what else to do.

About brodysmom

I am a stay at home mom.  My husband works as much as he can and we have insurance.  My problems is that we had a premature baby a little over 2.5 years ago.  My husband makes too much for us to be on Medicaid or Chips and our co-pays and deducatables are outragious.  Is there any help out there for us that make too much for the goverment to help us but not enough for us to keep from the medical bills from piling up.  My son is fixing to have his 6th surgery and we are hoping his last but who knows what the future holds.  I am worried because more than likely they will not preform the surgery untill we have paid all medical bills.  If we wait to have the money and able to pay our son is going to be waiting a long time.  HELP PLEASE!!

PREGNANT - Need To See A Doctor - Any Suggenstions?

We recently found out we are pregnant and that our insurance only covers complicated pregnancy. I hav enot seen a doctor yet, because we already have some medical debt and I want ot see if there any help out here before make that debt even larger. I'm not sure who to contact for help or who's out there. If you know who I should speak with, please let me know.

Our family makes to much for Medicaid, not enough to pay for everything upfront. We live in Tx near the Dallas Fort Worth Area.

Thank You!

NEW BABY ON THE WAY, NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR & IN MEDICAL DEBT - need help

My family is in need of help right now. We're up to ours heads in medical debt, about $15,000. We also just found out that we have another little one on the way. My insurance doesn't cover maternity. We owe my daughter's doctor $721, and we can't take her to the doctor until we have that settled. we also still owe over $5000 from her birth. I have not been able to see a doctor about this pregnancy yet because we don't know how we are going to pay. We make to much for medicaid.

If anyone can help us out or has some advice, I will be more than happy to hear it. I really need to get to a doctor to see how far along I am and to have this pregnacy montered.

THANK YOU
